Preparation of Electro-Homeopathy

Dr. Mattei had written his first book in 1874 in Italian language, which was then published in other languages. He has applied himself in his lifetime to the discovery of Materia Medica capable of modifying; not only the manifestation or symptoms of disease, but also their principle, or to speak better their first cause. It is by means of a theory the simple, with curative agents which he called Electricity in the remedies (Electro-Homoeopathy), so elementary that everyone may cure himself and his medicine is certainly the medicine of the future.  If there are but few honest hearts in this world, there is still enough remaining to bless his memory.

Later on this system was further developed by DR. COUNT CESAR MATTEI adherent THEODORE KRAUSS and CARL FRIEDRICH ZIMPEL, and who have given the different manufacturing method for making Electro-Homeopathic remedies, which is known as respectively ‘Krauss method’ and ‘Zimpel method’.

Theodore Krauss: The German physician Theodore Krauss (Born on 3rd November 1864, died 1st October 1924) made a notable contribution to Electro-Homeopathy medicine and JSO Spagyric medicine which is based on his method. At the age of 56 and after his key experiences with pharmacist Johannes Sonntag established” JSO Komplex Heilweise”, an exhaustive body of information. Dr. Count Mattei in the early year of 1880 set up a Consortium for Electro-Homoeopathy for the sale and promotion of his remedies in Regensburg. In the year 1883 the Consortium was transferred to the Engel Pharmacy in Regensburg for selling the remedies.

The Consortium remained responsible for the publication of the literature and assistance for these remedies to the thousand of members of the Electro-Homeopathic practitioner. About two years later, Theodore Krauss joined the Consortiums for Electro-Homoeopathy and remained there in contact with Dr. Count Mattei till the year 1890. But after the death of Mattei in 1896, the Theodore Krauss took over the Consortiums for Electro-Homoeopathy; later on he expanded the system. In the First World War the supplies from Italy were missing between the years 1914 to 1918. The first original medicines under the license were overproduced in the scientific direction of Krauss and Johannes Sonntag in the their direction. The system later established by Theodore Krauss and became known as Electro-Homoeopathy, which developed up to today and is known as JSO Komplex Heilweise (JKH). After Theodore Krauss death his work was continuously moving forward and his first book published back in 1920 on Electro-Homeopathy has published its 14 edition till today in Germany. Following that, Spagyric had an official place in Europe and in the German Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia. (A leading manufacturer in India is Naturo Electro Homeo Medicos, New Delhi, India).

Carl Friedrich Zimpel: The nineteenth century, the German physician Carl Friedrich Zimpel (Born on 11th December 1801 in Szprotava, Poland, died 26th June 1878 at Pozzuoli, Italy), began a new production by introducing new Spagyric medicaments. He created his own healing system while adhering to Hahnemann’s and Count Mattie’s principle. In his view, no healing system, whatever its name was perfect, each had its own advantages and drawbacks. But although no medical system could be seen as complete, Homeopathy and Allopathy together, he suggested, constituted a perfect whole. This widely travelled and learned man had originally been an architecture. He also practiced medicine, although he did not receive medical training, based on his system of Zimpelschen Heilssystems or Spagyria. He became around 1850 follower of John Wroe (Born on 19th  September 1782, died 5th February 1863), founder of the Christian Israelite Church.

He devoted himself late in life to the study of medicine and acquired a doctorate in philosophy and medicine. He was awarded the Prussian gold medal for art and science and was an honorary member of the Mineralogical Society of the University of Jena (The university was established in 1558 and is counted among the ten oldest universities in Germany). In 1849, he established himself in London as a Spagyric herbal practitioner (Electro-Hoemopathy physician).

Zimpel devoted himself intensively to the study of the works of Paracelsus. At the age of 70 and after his key experiences with Count Cesare Mattei, he published a book on the subject. Gradually, he developed an important production, known today as Zimpel method which is also descried in German Authentic Pharmacopoeia a high level, internationally known manufacturing Pharmacopoeia, whose products are today available in many countries of the world, including in India (One of the most famous manufacturer is Rabisa India Electrohomeo Pharma at Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, India). In the meantime, many classical texts have been reprinted, in connection with which the attitude of the publishers vacillates strongly.

Zimpel procured his remedies from Willmar Schwabe in Leipzig, who in turn sold Zimpel’s Spagyric remedies. He wanted to enable Count Mattei also to have his remedies manufactured, or at least marketed, by Schwabe. Negotiations failed, however, apparently due to Mattei’s exorbitant demands. Allegedly a result of that, Zimpel decided to manufacture his own Spagyric remedies. When Schwabe feared that their reputation might suffer because of the Spagyric medicines, the Homeopathy Central Pharmacy in Goppingen town (Southern Germany) under the ownership of Friedrich Mauch (Born on 11th June 1837 at Owen, Germany, died 22th July 1905 at Goppingen, Germany), took on the sale of Zimpel’s preparations in 1873.
