Medicinal properties:
Antitubercular, antipurulent, antiscrofulous, anti-catarrhal.
Pharmacology:
This is the specific for the pulmonary inflammation, symptomatic of tubercular softening tubercular pthisis, slow or galloping consumption, pulmonary emphysema or dilatation of the air cells.
It is specially used for the catarrh of the lungs, and bronchia, true pulmonary consumption. In cases of chronic or suppurating disintegrating of the mucous membrane of the lungs, with discolored, suppurating, yellow, green, or ichorous expectoration with or without traces of blood, Pettorale-2 act nicely. It is the true remedy to combat organic degeneration and distraction of tissues. In these cases, Canceroso-2 and Canceroso-5 are to be used with Pettorale-2.
