Pharmacology:
Sphere of action is like Pettorale-6. It is especially suited to feverish bronchial and pulmonary catarrh. Ingredients like Pettorale-6, in addition however to the component parts of the Febrifugo. It is consequently suitable, like Pettorale-8 for use in convulsive attacks of asphyxia with violent retching, or vomiting of mucous; or in complaints reoccurring periodically at certain times. It stimulates the respiratory centre, antitussive, and is used in upper respiratory disease including common cold, allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, sinusitis, allergic asthma, chronic bronchitis, irritant cough.
